Objective:
Develop an E-Insurance Management System that allows insurance companies to manage their operations digitally, provides customers with an easy-to-use interface for managing their policies, and ensures regulatory compliance.
Scope:
The system will include modules for policy management, customer management, claims processing, payments, reporting, and analytics. It will also provide a customer portal for policyholders to view and manage their insurance policies.
HOW TO GET STARTED?
- Open your XAMPP Control Panel and start Apache and MySQL.
- Extract the downloaded source code zip file.
- Copy the extracted source code folder and paste it into the XAMPP’s “htdocs” directory.
- Browse the PHPMyAdmin in a browser. i.e. http://localhost/phpmyadmin
- Create a new database naming edoc.
- Import the provided SQL file. The file is known as e-insurance.sql located inside the source code root folder.
- Browse the e-Insurance in a browser. i.e. http://localhost/e-Insurance/.
